Non-ionising radiation

Non-ionising radiation (NIR) occurs among others in places where people work with lasers, ultra-violet light (UV light), magnetic fields and infra-red light.

The NIR handbook of the Faculty of Science can be used as a reference for all guidelines and regulations, both government-issued guidelines (legislation) and internal guidelines and regulations.

The handbook also includes a checklist for lasers (Section 4.6.7, page 19)
